Dale Reed had a vision to apply his years of expertise to an innovative new type of company. A company that would first consider the customers overall costs and production requirements when considering maintenance actions. Achieving this is a result of a more aggressive field level repair program and considerations to customer sensitive scheduling issues. RSI’s years of experience will become your best asset. Our team of highly trained professionals will respond to any crisis, and with each technicians average of 15 years in the aircraft and industrial gas turbine industry you can rest assured a timely and cost effective resolution will be affected.
Maintenance Consulting is an effective method of reducing the maintenance costs of the customer and is provided in the areas of overhaul and major repair support and periodic inspection development. The overhaul support roll will help the customer with preparation of overhaul bid specifications, expert customer representation, technical and customer reviews and failure investigations. Periodic inspection development will take into account the customers location, schedule and process issues. It provides a schedule of tasks, detailed task instructions and further supplies the customer with training on task completion.
On site field repairs are provided for the customer with RSI’s personnel that have vast experience in the gas turbine maintenance field and excel at the repair of gas turbines in the field setting. The inclusion of tasks that traditionally required shop visits are what create the greatest cost savings for the customer. Customer facilities and personnel are utilized where possible to further increase the cost effectiveness of the repair.

Personal Perspective
As the owner of Reed Services Inc, (RSI) I feel my background in aircraft and industrial gas turbine maintenance will be invaluable to you as an operator of aeroderivative gas turbines. My experience with gas turbines began in the Canadian Armed Forces in 1979 and moved on to the industrial gas turbine industry in 1995.
My concern for integrity, quality of service and cost effectiveness were the leading factors in the creation of RSI. Excellence of service equates to receiving a highly trained, effectively motivated technician with high moral standards and integrity in technical, safety, and environmental concerns. This is provided through a cost-effective service that will separate RSI from others providing the same services in this industry.
Additional issues regarding the working conditions in the field service group are a major concern to me personally. Simple limitations such as a maximum of 14 days in the field per month and the maximum 16-hour workday have been initiated to protect our technicians from the ever-present burn out that is experienced in the field service industry. The benefit to you the customer is the well rested, straight thinking technician that possesses the skills to communicate clearly with you and to complete the job.
Through RSI I strive to provide a service for you that is cornered on integrity, high moral standards, extensive product knowledge and cost effectiveness.
